Intricately woven and softly textured, the golden strands of raffia have long been loved for their natural aesthetic. When it comes to this earthy material, however, its rewards are even greater than what meets the eye. 

Sustainably harvested from the raffia palm tree with the utmost respect for the environment, its production allows the plant continuous growth. Once harvested, the palm leaves are stripped into strands and dried in the sun, giving them their beloved golden hue. 

Raffia strands have a natural resin, making them not only soft and smooth but just as resilient and long-lasting. Plus, as a completely natural product this material is entirely biodegradable – not that it will come to that. Once you get your hands on our raffia designs, you’ll never let go.
